Truro, Cornwall, 17 September 1792. 1 pp. two-sheet in-4, addresses on verso, postmarks. In English. A letter evoking with horror the latest events of the French Revolution. He assures him that he received her letter several days ago, but has not been able to reply since. He asked Malcolm to pass on his correspondence to Don Joaquin, who will study the contents and details of his requests. As soon as he returns home, he will write to Logan and ask him to forward the instruments he wishes to have. Watt was horrified by the events that had just taken place in France [September massacres], a real attack on freedom.
