Most probably to General Count Auguste-Daniel Belliard, whose Memoirs had just been published in Paris by Berquet and Pétion. 2) Autograph telegraphic dispatch signed with its initial, addressed to King Victor Emmanuel II. Saint-Cloud, 8 November 1866. 20.5 x 13.5 cm With a copy of the latter’s dispatch dated the day before, from the hand of the private secretary of the Emperor Jean-Baptiste Franceschini-Pietri. Exchange on the occasion of the entry of the King of Italy into Venice after his victory over the Austrians.
