Participant in the World war I and the Civil war; emigrated to France. Collaborated in
‘Last news’, ‘Days’, ‘Russia and Slavs’.
Autobiographical novel about childhood and adolescence, interesting material about Siberia,
where the author grew up.
Provenance: Adamova Nadezhda Konstantinovna (1880-1955) - doctor of medicine. The
wife of the lawyer M. K. Adamov. Emigrated to France, lived in Paris. She supervised
massage and nursing courses with the Society for mutual aid of Russian women, provided
free assistance to members of the Society. Member of the society of Russian doctors
named after Mechnikov.
