Autographed letter to Tsar Alexander II. [n°296]. Saint Petersburg, Saturday 6/18 of November 1871 at 11:30am. 3pp. in-8. Written in French with a couple of sentences in Russian, apostil autograph from the Emperor. “Your letter filled me up with sun, which is the reflection of your heart. Also, I have to admit that nothing can be compared to the bliss of being absorbed & transparent, like we are. We only live with the feeling of belonging to one another, in front of God. (...) Yes, certainly, our bingerles cannot be reduced to nothing and one has to be appealing like you are to give away such a delight. I feel so satisfied and happy to adore you”.
