A letter with a handwritten signature. Tsarskoe Selo, September 24, 1781.
29x19 cm. With frame and passepartout (46x49cm), with an engraved
portrait of Catherine II. The text of the letter is written in a clerical
handwriting of the second half of the XVIII century. Ending with the
Empress’s handwritten signature: «Catherine».
The letter expresses condolences to his nephew on the death of his daughter
Frederica Wilhelmina.
