Maria Kirillovna (1907-1951) was the eldest daughter of Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich and Grand Duchess Victoria Feodorovna (born Princess of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Great Britain). By a personal decree of Emperor Nicholas II dated July 15, 1907, she was attributed to the Russian Imperial House. In 1924, Princess of the Imperial blood Maria Kirillovna received from her father, who took the title of Emperor of all Russia Cyril I, the title of Grand Duchess of Russia, the validity of which is disputed by opponents of the Cyril tsar dynasty branch.
