Wood, gold leaf, oil. Size: 107 X 55 cm. Condition: generally in good condition, fragmentary renovations across the ornamental gold background and of the Saint's clothes. Metropolitan Peter (the Second half of the XIII - 1326) was an outstanding Church and state figure of Russia, who played an exceptional role in the formation and promotion of the Moscow Principality and the formation of a centralized state. Saint Peter was especially esteemed in Russia of the saint, and this ;large-format image has a high collector's value.
