A Russian icon of the "Kazanskaya Mother of God" with apostles South-West of Russia, the second half of the XIX century.

Oil on canvas. Size: 61X50 cm. Condition: multiple tinting, the canvas is cropped at the edges. The iconographer conveyed more warmth of the divine image of the Mother of God through a sense and understanding of "folk" iconography, although his desire to follow the "academic" styles in the icon is also evident.
