The poem «Night Visiting» was included in the series «Midnight Verses» - one of the last series of A. Ahmatova. Seven poems of this series were published in the collection «Running». Anna Andreevna AHMATOVA (1889-1966) - Russian poet of the Silver Age, one of the most significant figures of Russian literature of the XXth century, was nominated for the Nobel Prize (1965, 1966).
