The cover is detached from the block, traces of pasting along the spine, loss of fragments at the edges and corners of the cover, minor stains. Owner's stamp "B. Avantso (Moscow)" on the back cover. Jean Baptiste (Ivan Osipovich) Avantso (1853-1909) was an Austrian subject and the owner of several art shops in St. Petersburg and Moscow (on Kuznetsky Most, at the cor-ner of Petrovka). He was a publisher and a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1904. In 1909, the business and shops were transferred to Karl Lemerse.
