The illustrations and book decorations are hand-colored. In very good condition. Ivan (Jean) Konstantinovich Lebedeff (1884-1972) was a French painter and graphic illustrator of Russian origin. He was a member of the anarchist movement and a representative of the Russian creative and political emigration in France. Collaborating with Parisian publishers such as "Morney," "Fayard," and "Trianon," Lebedeff worked as a book illustrator. Worked in woodcut technique. In 1920-1930 illustrated more than 90 books.
