Alexei Mikhailovich Remizov (1877-1957) was a Russian writer, one of the most distinctive stylists in Russian literature, an artist, and a calligrapher. He was one of the prominent representatives of Russian modernism. From the summer of 1921, he lived in emigration; from 1923, he resided in Paris, where he spent the rest of his life on Bualo Street.
