The cover is stained, the cover is separated from the block, the block splits into notebooks, the owner's inscription on the title page. Vasily Vitalievich Shulgin (1878-1976) was a journalist, monarchist, and one of the leaders of the nationalist faction in the Fourth state Duma. Together with A. I. Guchkov, he adopted the Manifesto of the abdication of Emperor Nicholas II. After the October revolution, he participated in the creation of the Volunteer army. Since 1922, he lived in exile. In 1944, he was arrested in Yugoslavia and transferred to the USSR. He was imprisoned until 1956, then in exile in Vladimir. First edition. In Russia, it was published in the same year with significant reductions.
