The Grand Prince thanks for the prayers in his angel day. «I am deeply touched by the feelings and wishes expressed to me, in which I find new ideas...] to serve the beloved Motherland». Nikolay Nikolaevich, Grand Prince (1856-1929) - grandson of Nicholas I, Supreme commander of all land and sea forces of the Russian Empire at the beginning of the World War I; in 1915 -1917- Governor of His Imperial Majesty in the Caucasus, commander-in-chief of the Caucasian army and military ataman of the Caucasian Cossack troops. In March 1919 he emigrated to Italy, then to France. He was considered one of the candidates for the Russian Imperial throne.
