A letter addressed to Gregory Aleksinsky. Sremski Karlovci (Kingdom of Yugoslavia), March 23, 1922. 1 p.; 27x22 cm. Typewriting. Handwritten signature of P. N. Wrangel. General Wrangel apologizes that he cannot 'help financially' with the trip of G. Aleksinsky to Serbia due to financial difficulties. He also also thanks for the correspondence and expresses his respect and loyalty. Provenance: Aleksinsky Grigory Alekseevich (1879-1967) - public and political figure, publicist. At the beginning of his political activity he was a social democrat, later, a counter-revolutionary. In 1918 he was arrested but released on bail. Escaped abroad. During emigration he held unambiguously anti-Bolshevik positions. In 1920 he was judged in absentia by the Supreme revolutionary Tribunal within the case of "Tactical center", found guilty of counter-revolutionary conspiracies and deprived of the right to enter Soviet Russia.
