Wood, gesso, gold leaf, tempera. Size 29 X 26 cm. Condition: multiple tinting of the paint layer, lost crowns of the image of the mother of God and St. Basil. A notable feature of the icon is multi-figure compositions of saints revered in Russia. The fine painting of clothes and the miniature execution of details allows us to attribute the creation of the icon to a large iconographic center. High collectible value, a rare custom-made icon. The Holy wives - Barbara, Anna the Prophetess, Mary of Egypt and Mary Magdalene are placed in the upper register. Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, John Chrysostom, Antipas, John, Andrew of Crete, and John the warrior are placed below.
