Born in Milan, the photographer Aldo Durazzi (1925-1990) worked for Gazzetta dello Sport, the agency Farabola and then, after moving to Rome, he founded Dufoto in 1956. During the Dolce Vita years he not only portrayed the elite, but he also reported the great events of news, politics and sport of those years. He worked for major international newspapers until becoming, in the 70s and 80s, correspondent for the Times-Life group and National Geographic.
