Pavlova on the second flyleaf The first edition of the poet's collected poems. The edition was planned in four parts. By that time, there were only enough completed poems for the first two parts, which were published one after another in May and June of 1829. The third part was published in 1832, and the final, fourth part in September 1835. The release of the first two parts of Pushkin's collection of poems was praised by the contemporary press but did not reach Pushkin either in Moscow or St. Petersburg. The portrait of Mayakovsky in a wide-brimmed hat was created by Shekhtel (Zhegin). The lithographed text was written by V.N. Chekrygin. The preparation of the collection took two weeks, and at the end of May 1913, it was printed at the "Little Lithography near the Nikolskiye Vorota" - the lithography of Mukharsky. Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky (1893-1930) was a Russian and Soviet poet, playwright, screenwriter, film director, film actor, and artist. He is one of the most significant Russian poets of the 20th century and a classic of Soviet literature. He was also the editor of the journals "LEF" and "Novy LEF."
