The publication tells the story of the seizure of the steamer ‘Utrish’ and the escape from Soviet Russia of eight young men, three of whom had served under Wrangel while three others had been their enemies and fought under Budyonny and Frunze. By 1925, however, they were all united by one goal: to leave the USSR.
