Oklad: silver, embossed, gilded, polychrome enamels Hallmarks: mark in Cyrillic ‘V.KH’; assay master’s mark in Cyrillic ‘EB’ above the date 1857 (Eduard Fyodorovich Brandenburg), master’s mark ‘GMM’ (?), silver mark ‘84’ and the coat of arms of the city of St Petersburg (on the side), mark in Cyrillic ‘V.KH’, silver mark ‘84’ (on the enamels) wood, oil 26.8 x 21.5 cm Condition: oklad and painting from the mid-19th century, retouching to the hair of Christ, enamel elements are probably of later origin.
