René Bull (1872–1942) was an Irish artist. He studied in Paris under the French caricaturist Caran d’Ache. From 1905 he illustrated books, beginning with an edition of the fables of Jean de La Fontaine. Among other major works he illustrated were Arabian Nights (1912), the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam (1913), Russian Ballet (1913), Carmen (1915), and the tales of Andersen.
