iron, wood 41 x 66.5 cm, 29 x 74.5 cm (wooden support) includes exhibition catalogue of 1965 Aleksander Kovač, soloist at the Slovenian National Theatre Opera in Maribor, There, he created more than 60 lyrical roles and made a significant mark on the creativity of the Maribor Opera. Kovač was also a self-taught sculptor, among other works, he created opera characters out of welded iron (he worked as a welder in an enamelware factory at the age of fourteen)
