– 66 p.; 19x12 cm. In the publisher's cover. Good condition. Minor stains and fading on the cover, a small tear at the bottom of the spine, owner's inscription on the title page. Sergei Yakovlevich Savinov was a writer, journalist, and translator. He fought in World War I and the Russian Civil War. As an émigré, he lived in Prague and later in Berlin. He was one of the representatives of the Pan-Slavic movement in exile. During World War II, he found himself in Germany, was a displaced person, and continued to write and publish his works in Munich. Camp publication for displaced persons (DPs).
