Requests accommodation for a Russian colonel taken prisoner (surname illegible). ‘Mr Mayor, I have the honour of requesting that you kindly designate accommodation for Colonel [?], who is attached to the Guard of the Emperor of Russia. This poor colonel was taken prisoner and has just arrived. I have the honour of greeting you with the highest consideration.’ Louis-Victor-Léon Rochechouart, Count of Rochechouart, Colonel, Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty the Emperor of Russia, Commander of the first four arrondissements of the city of Paris.
