Overall length - 96.8 cm; blade length - 81.9 cm; the width of blade heel- 2.9 cm. The Damascus steel blade is curved, single-edged, with one broad fuller; Combat double-edged point. The blade on both sides is decorated with a cartouche with an oriental ornament; filled with gold. The hilt consists of a wooden grooved handle and a silver guard. At the top of the handle there is a silver sleeve, turning into an extended oval head with a button, decorated with diverging grooves in the form of melon slices and a floral ornament. The cross is decorated with a relief groove around the perimeter. On the head of the handle, in the lower part of the cross, the scabbard is etched with marks: in the form of a male head with numbers 8 and 5, a female head with number 1, denoting the place of production, Paris and the year 1794/97 and in the form of a rooster with number 1, denoting 950 silver sample.
