Restauration period
Chevron body bordered with prongs, coats of arms, twisted motifs and a double row of rope fringe embroidered with silver threads. Red cloth piping. The escutcheons are trimmed around the edges with five stars embroidered in gold sequins, and in the centre are crossed marshal's batons with a fleur-de-lys motif, in silver and enamel.

Nicolas-Charles Oudinot (1767-1847) was appointed Duke of Reggio by Emperor Napoleon I by letters patent dated April 14, 1810.
Nicolas-Charles Oudinot was a French military officer. He joined the army at a very young age and distinguished himself during the French Revolutionary Wars.
Under the First Empire, Oudinot became one of Napoleon I's most loyal and capable generals. He was made Marshal of the Empire in 1809 After his brilliant performance at the Battle of Wagram. He also took part in many other Napoleonic campaigns, notably in Spain, Russia (1812), Germany, and France.
