'This battle was won on 2 December 1805 by the French army even though the enemy was far superior in numbers, but Napoleon's valour was only an opportunity for him to display his great talents. On the eve of this famous battle, After having ordered the preparations for this affair, he fell into such a deep sleep that he had to be woken up.
