oil on canvas 36 x 54 cm Provenance: Collection privée, Stockholm From 1703 to 1810, the Arkhangelskoye estate was owned by the Galitzine family; then in 1810, it was acquired by Prince Nikolai Borisovich Yusupov, and remained in his family until 1917. After the revolution, the estate was requisitioned, and in 1919 it was transformed into a history and art museum. The painting was created around 1900 when the estate was still owned by the Yusupov family.
