20 x 25 cm The Visitors is an independent film, directed by Elia Kazan, shot on 16mm film, released in 1972. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival the same year. Kazan was inspired by a report written by Daniel Lang for the New Yorker Magazine published on October 18, 1969 and by Lang's book "Casualties of War" as a starting point for the film. He asked his son Chris to write the script.
