He had kept "a 14-year silence" that he would have liked to keep until his death, "knowing that the truth would be controversial". General de Gaulle had in no way asked him to remain silent. Good condition 21 x 17 cm In 1983, in "a little book, Baden 68" published by Plon, he recounted the General's totally unexpected visit to Baden on 29 May 1968. The General knew how he felt about the Algerian solution, having recalled him from Algiers following an interview he had made the mistake of giving to the German journalist Kemski (of the Sud-deutsche Zeitung). He had no doubt understood this and knew that he could count on his loyalty, "dating back to 1940", since he had refused "to take over the leadership of the rebellion in 1961 that Argoud wanted to entrust to [him]". He also knew that he was outspoken with him "which was perhaps not the case with his Parisian entourage in May 1968". 3) autograph greetings card signed Paris, 1974 1 p. in 12.
