Maison Chocolat Guérin-Boutron is a French luxury brand that operated in France from 1775 to 1942. In 2016, the brand was acquired. The new production was launched the following year in Belgium.
Guérin-Boutron was the first company to launch into advertising imagery. These chromolithographs were not intended to be presented in albums. Two Livre d'or albums of contemporary celebrities were published from 1903, each containing around 500 images.
