Christofle is a French goldsmith and tableware company founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle. The hallmark of the Gallia collection, created by Christofle in 1898, is a cockerel in a shield with inscription “Orfèvrerie Gallia” or “Gallia” used until 1942.
