The iconography of the Mother of God has been known since
the late 17th century thanks to a drawing taken from an icon of the original Sikh iconography. This rather rare iconography is distinguished by the text of the Divine Condak, the first words of which give the icon its name, placed on the ornamental border of Mary's cloak.
Coondition: unrestored, under a layer of blackened varnish, one
crack at the joint of the boards on the upper margin.
