glass, enamel, gilt signed in gold ‘1175 Moser 130’ (on the underside) H. 21.3 cm (each) Cristallerie Moser is a luxury glass manufacturer based in Carlsbad (Bohemian Crystal) in the Czech Republic. Renowned for its decorative glassware, vases, ashtrays, candlesticks and stemware are the centrepieces of its collections. In 1873, at the Vienna International Exhibition, the company received an award for the quality of its glassware, which is still the most widely collected today. In 1904, a patent was granted to the Moser Crystal Works, which became the official supplier to the Imperial Court of the Emperor of Austria.
