Osanne was a student of the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Paris from 1947 to 1953, then of the National School of Fine Arts in 1954 and 1955. From 1956 to 1960 she honed her etching and lithography skills with the well-known printmaker Jacques Hallez in Marseille.
