Autographed letter to Ekaterina Dolgorouki. [n°41]. Saint Petersburg, Tuesday 13/25 of February 1868 at 3:30pm. 4 pp. in-8. Letterhead paper with the Tsar’s crest in the corner, written in French with two long Russian passages. Beautiful love letter from the Tsar after an excessive “bingerles” night, recalling a journey with Katia in Paris. “I found you more radiant than ever, despite the dark marks under your eyes due to our long and delirious “bingerles” from last night. (...) What do you want? We are two wild creatures that cannot live without the other and that cannot resist seeing each other”.
