Historical document of exceptional importance on the capitulation of the French army in the battle of Sedan. Napoleon III is a prisoner of the Prussians in Germany, and he gives the reason why he ordered the white flag!!
General Wimpffen was the commander in chief and successor to General Bazaine after the capitulation of the French army.
