French hunting ri e with a intlock, circa 1800, with a silver instrument.
Overall length - 149.1 cm; barrel - 108.8 cm; caliber - 1.62 cm.
The ri e consists of a stock, a barrel, a intlock and a silver instrument. Steel ramrod. The barrel is steel, round, smooth, octahedral from the treasury to the beginning of the forearm. Oxidised (blued) to brown. In the breech the barrel is decorated with gilded engraved oral patterns and a vase. As a sighting device, the gun on the upper edge of the barrel is equipped with a steel front sight and entirely on the shank in the breech breech in the form of a groove-groove. On the outside of the bracket there are four poorly visible stamps denoting a sample of silver, the place of manufacture and the name of the master. The outer part of the bracket is richly decorated with embossed gilded oral ornament. The trigger is xed on the axis (transverse pin).
There is a scratched inscription: «VERSAILLES». The butt plate is silver, with a short gured needle, decorated with a relief image of knightly artillery armour with banners.
