Russian Sword of civilian of cials during the reign of Nicholas I, with a lanyard. Total length - 91.1 cm: blade length - 78.8; blade width at the heel - 1.4 cm. The steel blade is double-edged, tetrahedral. The heel is stamped by the manufacturer. The blade is decorated on two sides with an etched vegetative ornament with the image of war trophies. The hilt consists of a handle with a brass, gilded, curved ornament in the form of a male head in a helmet and a gilded brass guard. On the outer cheek of the handle there is a diamond-shaped gilded plate decorated with the monogram of Emperor Nicholas I of Russia - “N I” under the Imperial crown. At the bottom of the handle there is a brass oral ornament. In the middle part of the bow there is an ornamented rosette in the shape of a boat, decorated with the monogram of the Emperor of Russia Ni- cholas I - “N I” under the Imperial crown. Leather sheath, black with brass gilded device, consisting of an ornamented mouth with a gured peg, a shaped ornamented frame and an ornamented tip. Original lanyard, made of silver gimp, silver thread and silk. Russia, 1831-1855. Condition: good
