Letter from the directors of Hermitage Fine Art
Monaco
November 23, 2020

Dear Friends,

Over the course of our first three year of auctions, we have been fortunate to work with many terrific art pieces and to work with many great private collections, and we are proud to have firmly established our roots in the Principality of Monaco.

Since our first auction in October 2017, we consolidated our position among the world leaders for Russian art auctions worldwide. We enhanced our departments of Fine Art (from Old Masters to 19th Century) and Modern art, selling the Femme nue, 1907 by Felix Vallotton in April 2019 for €500,000.

With a focus on the world’s history and culture, the Hermitage Fine Art has become known worldwide also for its department of manuscripts, autographs and rare books. Our new focus is on photography, and in 2021 we will expand to new departments of Jewellery, Watches and Luxury Bags.

At the time of writing, the world is experiencing a period of transformation. We are firm believers in the power of innovation and we trust that the future will be bright, for the art world and for the world.

Sincerely yours,

Elena Efremova-Carè,
Director
Hermitage Fine Art
